By creating an account or using Snack Isle, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Snack Isle. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and don't impersonate another person or brand.
Snack Isle only works if people can trust what they see here. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. When you rate snacks, write notes, comment, or upload photos, you agree not to post content that:
• Harasses, threatens, or bullies another person
• Is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise obscene
• Is illegal, or promotes illegal activity
• Impersonates someone else or misrepresents who you are
• Is spam, a scam, or unrelated advertising
• Infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
• Is deliberately false or misleading about a product (e.g. fake ratings, vandalized snack listings)
You can report any comment, note, snack, or user you believe breaks these guidelines, and you can block other users to stop seeing their content and prevent them from interacting with you. We review reports and act on confirmed violations within 24 hours, which may include removing the content and suspending or permanently removing the account responsible, with or without prior notice, especially in cases of repeated or severe violations.
You keep ownership of the ratings, notes, comments, and photos you post. By posting them, you give Snack Isle a license to store, display, and distribute that content within the app, including to other users, since Snack Isle is a social app by design. Community edits to shared snack data (name, brand, photo, category) may be revised by other users through the app's review process to keep the catalog accurate.
Snack listings (name, brand, photo, category) are shared and maintained collaboratively. Corrections submitted by any user are reviewed before they go live. We don't guarantee the accuracy of snack information, including nutrition or ingredient details sourced from third-party databases.
Snack Isle is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Product and store information may be incomplete or out of date.
To the extent allowed by law, Snack Isle isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on user-submitted content, ratings, or store/location information.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the community guidelines above.
If we update these terms, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update.
